Directions to Northern England Tribal Art Fair.
From the north by car.
Exit A1 (J47) to Harrogate. Follow the A661 for Harrogate
town centre into West Park one way system. After 2nd
pedestrian crossing, turn left down Montpelier Hill.
The Crown Hotel is directly in front of you at the bottom
of the hill on the far side of the large roundabout.
If you miss this turning - you will pass the tall cenotaph
obelisk on your right - keep going straight ahead in
the left hand lane down the hill to the traffic lights.
At the lights turn left and then left again which will
lead you to the large roundabout and the hotel to your
right.
From the south by car.
From the M1 or M62 at Leeds take M1/A1 link road then
from the A1 turn off at Wetherby on the A661 direct
into Harrogate. Follow the A661 for Harrogate town centre
into West Park one way system. After 2nd pedestrian
crossing turn left down Montpelier Hill. The Crown Hotel
is directly in front of you at the bottom of the hill
on the far side of the large roundabout. If you miss

hand lane down the hill to the traffic lights. At the
lights turn left and then left again which will lead
you to the large roundabout and the hotel to your right.
By rail or bus.
Harrogate's train and bus stations are located together
in the town centre. The venue is a short taxi ride or
a ten minute stroll through town. Cross the main road
and walk towards the centre for approx 300 metres, where
you will see the tall cenotaph obelisk war memorial.
Crossing the one way road at the pedestrian crossing
you will see Betty's Cafe in front of you. Walk down
the hill with Betty's to you right and you will come
to a large roundabout. The Crown Hotel is directly in
front of you on the far side of the roundabout.
By Air.
Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is a short journey away
from Harrogate by hire car, taxi or bus.
